MSNBC The Rachel Maddow Show - 29 July 2009: Rachel discusses the looney-toon conspiracy theorists who say health care reform is a secret plot to kill old people and get people to have more abortions. Christopher Bean at slate.com has christened them "the deathers." It turns out the theory goes back to a single person, Betsy McCoy, director of a medical device company Cantel Medical Corp. The government has promoted living wills for twenty years now, but she is pushing the lie that people in Medicare have a required counseling session that would tell them how to end their life sooner. She wrote an editorial in the New Republic in 1994 against health care reform that was so riddled with errors that the magazine had to distance themselves from it.

conspiracy have to see a pattern. I mean they have to don't they? They cannnot just go on and on like this for years. And some point the freepers feet have to touch ground. Am I wrong?
