Rachel covers the recent race baiting by the GOP and their rabid media mouth pieces.

1. Only a matter of time before one of them is caught using the Granddaddy of them all (the N-word)
Bet on it.

6. funny you should say that -I've been thinking the same thing... they are getting full of themselves
Or it will be "boy"

Somebody, in the south where they think it doesn't matter, where they wink and nod, where they all whisper this in their parlors and porches -- somebody's gonna be caught on camera saying it.

And what will happen when it happens?
What's happening to Glen Beck?
What happened to the Dixie Chicks?

I rest my case.

4. What so many FORGET about Obama...
It isn't that he's bi-racial. It isn't that his mother was white. It's that the two people who raised him from about 8 or 10 years of age on were white people and that one of them - his grandmother - was so dear to him that he stopped campaigning for president to be at her bedside as she lay dying.

If Obama hates white folks, he's got a Helluva weird way of showing it...

5. I agree with Melissa
but I think she's being too kind in her assessment. This is beginning to copy Clinton's last few years all over again only worse.
I feel like I'm getting spanked for not only electing a democrat but a "socialist" one as well. To make us so sick and tired of the negative rants we will throw Obama out in 2012 just to make it stop. There will be no bipartisanship of any kind and they will ratchet up the slurs and demagoguery. What's worse is we have blue dog democrats helping them by not supporting his plan for real health care reform. The numbers are changing. From the Ed Show last night. 94% want reform..56% support Obama's plan. 50% believe the plan would be leave them the same or better but 39% believe it will leave them worse off. We're fighting the status quo now and they have deep pockets and mouthpieces with big audiences. It's confrontation time. You know many people will go against their own interest if they're scared or mad enough. As we've heard already that seniors will die under his plan. Obama and us must stay cool headed through this. Distractions should be minimized like the Crowley/Gates show. They're looking for any slimy reason to discredit Obama and the democrats. We need to win this even if it's by a squeak.

8. The terrible fear is that this will continue for four years,
that the media will continue to hand it to their paymasters, that we'll only have had HOW LONG to enjoy 'our' victory? that 'confrontation time' will NEVER END! Follow the money, now, again, and forever. They win. Will it be romney next?

10. I agree
But if we get real health insurance reform a wave of encouragment will sweep the country..a big win for everyone who voted for Obama..but no it won't stop them and it won't end..but there's the rub. Letting them hang themselves as the obstructionists they are
and allowing the country to get a real good look at it. It does seem that Romney is going to be the one..IF the religious right will accept him.

7. Is there an a boycott of Beck & Rush's show sponsors in the black community yet?
It's 2009, Rush is calling Obama an Oreo and Beck is just a wackjob afraid of blacks in power. A list of their current sponsors needs to be spread around more so they can be avoided. Anyone with a link or list would be greatly appreciated.
