The fictional race of Klingons salute by striking the clenched fist against the chest, then extending the arm. In addition, a roman-based salute is used by the Terran Empire in the Mirror Universe - a clenched fist is struck against the chest, then that arm and hand is held out straight. The arm is held parallel to the ground, rather than raised as with a roman salute. The Nietzschean race of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda performs a similar salute.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SaluteI remember that salute, although it is nihilism, has many flaws.
I found transition from nihilism to opening the heart,
as V said,
That's it! See, at first I thought it was hate, too. Hate was all I knew, it built my world, it imprisoned me, taught me how to eat, how to drink, how to breathe. I thought I'd die with all my hate in my veins. But then something happened. It happened to me... just as it happened to you. Something happened, by opening up ones heart without any fear, it is something different. It is peaceful and joyful, it does not want nihilism it is compassion and justice. It is not violent or unfeeling, it is the release from imprisonment of fear or hate.
Same thing was in "Once More With Feeling" the Buffy musical, started with nihilism, but became opening of the heart.
