19. Yes, I read the entire e-mail. The cowering cop had no problem

referring twice to Gates as a 'jungle monkey' as well as excoriating the authur of the news article in most disgusting manner. This cops demeanor can be referred to as 'cowering', indicative of being a coward under fire. His is a racist and a hater who should not be in a position of having any kind of control over people other than those of his own race. If allowed to continue as a police officer he will most possibly graduate into a 'jack boot' type of cop. I pity his family.

police force needs to take some action.

A police officer should be trained to differentiate between a person in his own home who is dangerous and a person who is in his own home who is not feeling well and tired and doesn't want to be hassled. There is no excuse for what happened there. It may not have been racist, but it was ridiculous for a police officer to arrest someone for yelling in his own home when he does not pose a danger to anyone. Police officers should not expect so much subservience from everyone. They are just police officers not gods.
