...every once in a while, when he's saying something completely batshit crazy, that he looks straight into the camera (screen shot, anyone?) and goes all (Pigpen) Born Cross-Eyed??

9. That Christy seems like one well paid lapdog. |

You can't get him to shut up. A typical Bushbot. Lie, lie, lie, spin, spin, spin.

10. Thank you, Ron Christie, for the complete catalog |
|
of talking points, including those:
Expired!
Debunked!
Already contradicted by a unanimous jury!
Ridiculous on their face to anyone who's been paying attention!
Nice work, as that kind of work goes.

14. Don't let the facts get in the way Ron... |
|
What an ass. No sense arguing with him. He will stick with his paid position in spite of the fact that lying under oath is a crime no matter what you lie about. Ask Martha Stewart.
It must seem to him that those silly jurors never seem to know what they are doing when a Bushovik is charged. Were they 1) duped by the liberal media? or 2) Not smart enough to understand that there are 2 sets of laws and that the law that applies to them doesn't count against the king's men?
I forgive Buchanan's Nixon slip because he was defending the rule of law. I raise my glass to him. (Although I've seen him argue his points more forcefully on other occasions.)

15. So, if Bush pardons Libby, will he also pardon Sandy Berger? |
|
What I want to know is whether, if Bush pardons Libby, Congress can call Libby to testify about what happened. After all, Libby would not face charges at that point. Congress would be able to make the information public that Fitzgerald could not make public.
Also, Congress needs to investigate the Plame outing so that it can enact legislation to prevent future similar outings. Before it can prepare appropriate legislation, it needs to know for sure whether the outing was intentional as Wilson and Plame believe or inadvertent as Libby and the Republicans seem to want to know.
Did Libby and Armitage know whether Plame was covert? And if they did not, why? And if they did know that, then why did they out her? Congress and the American people need to know these things. If it is important that intelligence gathering be secret, then it is important to have processes that protect the secrecy. If not, then we need to know that.
