I didn't vote for him and have never supported him on anything, least of all on Iraq. If conservatives were allowed to post here, I would have to think that you had mistaken me for a conservative, but since that isn't the case, I really have no idea what you're talking about.

My post was a criticism of the hateful and irrational character of Savage's listeners. I was complaining that too often people on the left act the same way, which is really sad because liberalism is supposed to rely on facts and reason.

The conservative party is really showing their true colors. The members of the party are blaming everyone but themselves for their demise. As I listened to the emails that were sent to C-Span I felt like I was in some kind of time warp. Those emails could have been written prior to the civil rights movement. The conservatives are moving back in time, while the country is in an about face.

About a month ago I ended my two-year friendship with this Republican girl from Texas who was honestly a very sweet person, and not really unintelligent, but just so damn immature and incurious about the world. It really was a case of not wanting to worry her "beautiful mind" with all the bad shit that's going on. I gave her a lot of leeway, though, because her brother's a Marine lieutenant, so at least her family (if not she personally) wasn't a chickenhawk family. But it just got too damn annoying how she'd react harshly if I brought up something political or that proved how corrupt and evil her beloved Georgie and Republicans are, yet at the same time she wouldn't want to talk about it (the last straw was when I found out one of her favorite books was a Dinesh D'Souza book, and even though I gave her links to Michelle Malkin, of all people, calling D'Souza a terrorist sympathizer, she just said that was my opinion). Also, she was expressing the possibility of voting for Obama, so I thought that maybe she was coming around, but that really means nothing as far as still supporting Bush is concerned and she still voted straight Republican in the mid-terms.
