What goes around comes back around, I guess. Who would have thought it would a medley of OVER THE RAINBOW? I've watered more than a few eyes, here at DU, by creating graphically intensive music threads. Karma just hit BIG TIME on your resident ghost. The production technique is as good as I've ever seen, even when working in media. I sense a pro at the other end of this piece.

3. my only criticism of the piece is that the credits at the end roll too long...
That's not the fault of whoever created this media smorgasbord. IT'S THE FAULT OF THOSE WHO WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THE SEAT OF POWER, TUESDAY Please SUPPORT OUR TROOPS BY VOTING THIS UP BOTH HERE AT DU AND AT YOUTUBE you can go straight to that fine production by double-clicking the viewing screen on this OP. I have a new neighbor who just got back from Iraq. Guess how he's voting with his one good arm.

the more we publicize things like this video, the sooner our people get to come home.

on edit: I ask ALL of you; after viewing this media do you think ANYONE could go to the polls tuesday and vote "stay the course" Republican Tuesday? By hammering that foolish slogan into the heads of millions of Americans, KKKarl wasn't so smart after all! Just an added bonus for us to savor after Tuesday.

7. the death toll is going through the roof in Iraq right now...
By the time top Republicans get rich enough to want to start withdrawing or strategically moving troops to areas where men like Dr. "SMART AND TOUGH" Dean say we need them days will be measured in deaths.

8. Interesting collection of renditions of Over The Rainbow by different artists...
starting off with Israel "Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole, one of my favorites, and one by Eva Cassidy, both who died young. Was that electric rock version by Jimmy Hendrix, who is also dead? Judy Garland, I know died. Whoa, who were the other artists?

Over the Rainbow is a dream lullaby, and seems hauntingly appropriate to honor our fallen brothers and sisters. I'm shedding a few tears, too, because I don't think it's exactly the dream they hoped or expected to chase. Thank you for posting, Jeffersons Ghost.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
