They had it on some time ago and then I stopped seeing it ... I'm glad its back.
However, the cynical side of me (damn I hate that side) wonders if this is real footage of animals being saved from an oil slick, or did they just grease up a couple of birds and an otter for the commercial. :shrug:
Anyway, it must have worked, because it is the only dish det. I will buy.

which is huge, they're the #1 advertiser in the world.
They do, unfortunately, test many of their cosmetics on animals. :-(

I also agree about the unnecessary suffering of our wildlife. It breaks my heart to see them... ;(

why is this commercial so great? when you think about it the commercial is trying to sell you a product, Dawn dish soap. our demand for such products created from petroleum contributed to the problem they portray in the commercial. from the soap itself and any other ingredients to the plastic bottle, I'm sure we can find many parts of it that were created using oil. to me the commercial is a joke. like cleaning up the same oil that was used to make the product they are advertising

It is nice to see a large corporation who does donate time, money and product for environmental issues.
If you can tell me you don't drive a car, use public transportation of any form, use any plastic based products, only wear natural based cloths that you hand spun then you might have a point, otherwise you might also be joke.
