Jon Voight has managed to go from an award-winning, respected actor to yet another has-been celebrity spokesman for the GOP. This seems to be a growing trend among Hollywood-types who find their once bright stars starting to fade into obscurity. Mike Papantonio talks about the sad decline of this and other actors who have been reduced to nothing more than GOP talking heads.

1. He was great in "Midnight Cowboy".
Sadly he never lived up to all he could be...

2. I agree he hasn't lived up to his opportunities. But then, isn't he showing...
that he isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch?

5. Hard to believe...
That the same person could've given such a sensitive portrayal as a young actor, and then turned into such an unadulterated asshole

6. He was in Catch-22 too. How a guy who was in arguably the best anti war film
of all time ends up being a right winger is a mystery.

Jolie and Pitt must be proud. :sarcasm:

9. I like Angelina do not talk to my dad
And I totally understand why I would totally ignore such a douche bag.

I used to love him.

Great actor, great presence on the screen, but pea brained and definitely to the right of the right.

11. Wow, there was a time when Joan Rivers could smile!
OY, John Voight. What a waste of a pretty face. Loved Joe Buck, but not making policy.

I didn't care for this segment.
It preaches to the choir great, and I'm not saying it isn't true.
It just sounds a bit O'Rielly-esq to me.
