his approach he said that he would need the people to get the work done. What made America unpopular in past years is a unilateral approach, his personality trait is exactly as it should be for the POTUS at this moment in time. It almost seems people have got to used to George Bush and asking him to be like that feels counter productive. THat's not to say we can't show some attitude though in this case for health care. Sure we want him to get this done but it can't just lie on his shoulders Bush had a whole infrastructure to support him from dominant right wing radio and TV outlets to right wing churches so sure he could push and get it done. All Barack has is us and if we attack him what has he got then. He needs us we are all he's got attacking him is no answer we are.

And our Pres. needs people surrounding him to play the role of bad cop so we can move forward and not get tripped up by republicans and their obstructionist tactics because after all republicans lost the election for a reason. The people want democratic policies to move forward and in fact need them.
