This was awesome! It's at times like this that the Ragin' Cajun proves his worth.

3. I've been in Europe so I'm not sure what this is about exactly...
Some RW pinheads are upset that Obama has planned an address to schoolchildren? Are they just complaining because they need to hear their own voices in order to convince themselves that they still exist, or what?

11. Yep, that's about it

Obama is going to address (give a pep talk to) the school kids to encourage them to study hard and stay in school - on Sept. 8th.
The department of education sent out a sheet of suggested 'activities and discussion' questions that the teachers could or could not decide to use.
There was a question on there that said 'What can I do to help the President' and 'How does the President inspire me'
And when all the right-wingers heard about this they went NUTS.
Now many people are talking about keeping their kids home from school so that their kids won't hear Obama speak.
Some school districts have decided not to show the Obama video.
Some schools are leaving it up to the teacher to show it or not.
Pawlenty and Gov. Perry, etc. have come out with statements
On FoxNews they were talking about the 'indoctrination' of kids all day long.
People have been comparing Obama to Mao and North Korea, etc.

All the republicans seem to have gone NUTS!

12. If the Republicans all seem to have gone nuts...
I venture to say it was a very short voyage, perhaps one bus stop.

8. No...just folks who don't like the Ragin' Cajun.
Frankly Mr. I married a NeoCon is right here but his point goes deeper.

Really, we take the batshit far right and make it the right and take the center right and make it left.

Why do we cater to the crazies as if they have some significance other than being crazy?

I'll K&R it for that point.

5. We'll just have to live with that.
Yes, we will, and, like the overly-religious or prudish member of a group can ruin it all for others who don't mind reality, it must be remembered that after a certain point, these flat-eartheres need to just be ignored and even pushed out of the way when they interfere with important stuff that is based in reality.

6. I continually just lose faith in the media in this country...
Since the beginning of this so-called 'indoctrination' I've seen maybe the 10 same people on these programs talking about opposing this, plus some republican senators, I do not believe this deserves this much attention. It isn't an outrage, it's 10 people out of a nation of 300 million, same thing with the crazy town-hallers, its the same 10 people. The media frenzy in this country is getting sickening. Who cares about those people, we all know their are stupid people in this country, their always have been and always will be. Some things are better left ignored. Millions of news pieces go unreported everday. Please only make a big deal of revolution, which I'm sure will be televised.

18. But the M$M has an agenda.
This agenda is dictated by the PTB. Who knows the exact identity of the PTB. It looks as though it includes the health insurance industry in addition to the military industrial complex, the energy industry and others.

He didn't really do such a great job. I think he was struggling for a way to say what he REALLY wanted to without being too policially incorrect for CNN. Basically he wanted to say the same thing the guys on MSNBC said. That these people are nothing but stupid old southern white trash.

What about the stupid white trash from "the Heartland"? There seems to me to be more stupid dumbfucks per acre out west than in the south. Those big empty states on welfare seem to scream loudest about keeping the government outta their business.

23. Feh
Had people like the very moderate and rather uninspiring 'ragin cajun' fought back agains the right wing at an earlier point and from a more progressive perspective the line would be at a more reasonable place.
