A true story about the intellectual Fall of Man when Christian fanatics decided to repress the evils of "thinking" by destroying the Alexandrian Library. One woman tries to stop the destruction of knowledge. What we might have known now if this didn't happen.

4. How different would the world be today if we had harnessed steam power
in 800 CE instead of 1800 CE - entirely possible, as there were steam powered devices used in temples and as curiosities, whose plans were lost in the fire.

There would have been no dark ages upon the fall of Rome.

A thousand years of barbarity might have been avoided.

5. The forces of barbarism that overran decrepit Rome were internal as well as external
Christianity was as destructive as the Vandals.
