CEO Don Blankenship @ Friends of America Rally |
|
Massey Energy was the major sponsor of the Friends of America Labor Day rally. Don Blankenship is the CEO of Massey and head cheerleader for the Mountain Top Removal system of cheap coal mining

In my best educated guess... having seen many crowds and size estimates... no more than 20k and I think that's being generous.
Some have lambasted me on YouTube saying they got 25k signatures on the petition to buy legislation (true purpose of the rally) but they were also counting the signatures that were given Online over the many weeks leading up to the event.

4. The Real Government in WV |
|
Don ASSHOLE Blankenship has bought and owns the state of WV from the Governor down. There are a few exceptions in the Eastern Panhandle of the state but then we are not really part of WV as you can tell when you look at legislation and spending. The level of corruption in this state is nothing short of amazing.

The Obama Administration said Friday it has serious concerns with dozens of pending permits for mountaintop removal mines in Appalachia. http://www.wvpubcast.org/newsarticle.aspx?id=11237

Destroying our beautiful mountains that it took JC and his daddy millions of years to build. No respect for democracy, nature, or God's creations. These people worship only gold.
Why would a tourist from another state want to come here to see our bleak sawed off/ruined forever landscape, get run off the road and murdered by overweight coal trucks and breathe coal dirt, fly ash and sulfur dioxide?

6. My, My, My, How things have changed .... |
|
I remember as a kid the rare time in my life when I actually turned on one of those late night talk show's because Abbie Hoffman was scheduled to be on. I cant recall who it was, Carson or one of that ilk, Six of one, Half dozen of the other ...
Anyhow, I remember it being touch and go right up to show time whether or not he would actually be on due to some form of controversy.
Turns out the controversy was Hoffman's refusal to remove the shirt he was wearing which was made out of an American flag. Oh, The outrage and the gnashing and gashing of right wing teeth and low and behold if those bastards didn't black Abbie out every time the camera would turn on him. I remember to this day as young as I was, what hypocrisy it all was with that self righteous bastard Nixon sitting in the White House on his so called law and order mandate.
And now, these repuke hate America for electing a black man President bastards literally wrap themselves in that holy cloth of theirs while American troops are still dying overseas, which if I recall correctly was one of their bitches due to Vietnam at the time.
And now, Look at this fat bastard in all his glory. :argh:
Oh how times have changed, Indeed :wow:

Real Men Dig coal out of the ground. Not destroy the ground and pick up the coal.
They say they do it because they need a job but actively refuse to learn green job skills and ignore the fact that both wind production and deep mining create far more jobs than strip mining.
