The good folks at Fox News believe that Jeremiah Wright's recent comments about racists being in the GOP are absolutely false, and that he could find himself in trouble for spreading such lies. We see two problems with this: 1. Who cares what Jeremiah Wright has to say about healthcare reform? 2. How can Fox claim that there are no racists in the Republican Party, when clips like these are so prevelant on the Internet...

2. I don't think they're blind to it. I think they encourage it.
They're putting all minorities on notice. They're the Modern Day Klan, as evidenced by Sarah Palin's Klan Rallies during the GE.

7. Not all minorities.
They're cool with Clarence Thomas, for instance.

These people are frightening.

11. I think most of the "Independents" are just Republicans
who are trying to offset the bad name the Republicans have. They just can't see to trash liberals enough.

5. Rev. Wright didn't make a blanket statement.
He just said the racists in/of the republican party. A blanket statement would have been "The racist republican party..."

8. What stuck out in that video for me
...is the faux blonde squeezed in the lie that those of us who point out the racism are saying that every disagreement with Obama's policies is racism. I have yet to hear anyone one of us of us say that. Pointing out racism is not divisive, but to falsely claim that we believe that every disagreement is due to racism is meant to divide and stir up racial tribalism. This is why I become angry when posters here perpetuate that strawman.

that they ran out of milage with Wright and Ayers during the general election, for God's sake. Covering that stuff now is not merely flogging a dead horse, but a dead horse whose bones have long since been picked clean, and lie well and truly bleached in the desert sun. I know they need to gin up the base, but geez, try and come up with some new material...

12. They are playing to people to whom there is
no such thing as a dead horse. Their loyal viewers are birthers, etc., and they never concede their position even when faced with actual facts.

10. I have noticed that some people just can't take it...
when the truth is being told. I notice someone today said they are leaving DU and part of the explanation was that everything wasn't about race and we know it isn't. The problem is that when something is really blatant and out there and there is not mistake about it they want to pretend as though it isn't what it really is..

Fox News can show views that are racist, and they can get away with it. There is nothing done about it. Yes, Glenn Beck has lost sponsors.. Fox News has lost sponsors.. but they can still show clips of people saying outlandish racist remarks and point to them and say, "See, thats what they said."

They are bold and they don't care about what they show, or say on Fox News. Maybe its time for a new "Hate crime" bill about inciting people to do violence.

I don't know if there is an answer to this.. Perhaps just to continuously show their hate speech for
what it is.. hate speech. If someone did an expose on Fox News and all their hate speech and showed
it on another network, maybe people would get the idea. I am sure people did this years ago about the
propaganda in Pravda back in the years the Soviet Union was still around.

Someone has to tear down Fox News like they did the Wall in Berlin.

19. A compilation of racist, murderous, treasonous statements by FOX
could be used by a legal suit against Murdoch. At least in the universe I live in, which apparently isn't this one.
