2. Beautiful Sen. Byrd
Lives of great men all remind us, we can make our lives sublime
And departing leave behind us, footprints in the sands of time

He looks so forlorn at the end. He really misses his friend

And so do we ~

3. I watched it yesterday. I hesitated at first because he was going sooooo slow, but it was
WELL worth it. I cried through most of it. It was a thing of beauty.

4. Encapsulates Teds life perfectly- and should by example our own.
Footprints that perhaps another
sailing o'er life's solemn maine
a forlorn and shipwrecked brother
seeing- shall take heart again.

Here's a variation on that old "To be is to do" aphorism that i just made up upon hearing this-

"To Be Is To Care" Ted Kennedy
"To Care Is To Be" Mother Teresa
"I Don't Care About Anyone But Me" Rush Limbaugh

5. Psalm of Life, Longfellow. Thank you Sens Byrd and Kennedy, two heros in the strife.
"In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife! "

Psalm of Life
-Henry Wadsworth W Longfellow, 1807-1882
