on the Potomac was just a Coast Guard training exercise.

While I missed this incident (busy working), it sounds like the media was a blame here for running with a story related to something they 'overheard' on a police scanner. How is this the fault of the Coast Guard which does these drills about 4 times a week.

5. Don't blame the media.

Just ask yourself why they were having a training exercises at the exact time that the POTUS was arriving to make a speech at the pentagon?...it is unbelievable to me that they would choose to train in the middle of preforming security....does not make sense.
Frankly I think that this was a message to Obama that they could mess with them any time they wanted too....deal Obama, deal.
