I like the video, and it does a great job of showing the ignorance at tea-bagger events. I don't have any relatives with mental disabilities, just physical, but I share in you being repulsed by the word.

Just like using 'that's gay' as a generalized derogatory term. I hear it all the time, especially from my nieces and nephews. They aren't even homophobic and they see nothing wrong with it.

They are against entitlements when it concerns other people, but they'll yell the loudest when it comes to their own needs. For them entitlement is an entirely subjective concept. They suffer from a deficiency of compassion and empathy, and then wonder why no one cares about THEM when they're in need.

People like this will have a fit if another driver tailgates them or cuts them off, but minutes later they'll do the same thing to someone else, oblivious to the hypocrisy. If they get short-changed at the grocery store, they'll raise hell, but if a cashier gives them too much change, they'll pocket it without a word, because they're "entitled".

The last girl on the video made me very sad. She was just doing what her parents told her to. She could not define her issues or articulate the freedoms she was losing. She just kept looking at her mom. She didn't even understand the basic principal of freedom of speech. The videographer should have pointed out that she wouldn't have been allowed to hold her sign and attend the protest if she was losing her freedom of speech.

The nurse lady wouldn't even acknowledge that she received a tax cut. Makes me wonder if she even knows how to read her paycheck stub.
