@DavidShuster : I've covered rallies at dc capitol for 20 years. When the crowd goes only as far as 3rd st, it is 50000 or less.

6. Plenty, especially after seeing so many ignorant teabaggersgathered....

showing the world how pathetic they are.

Makes me realize even more how grateful I am that Obama won over McPhalin.

9. Anybody else notice how diverse the crowd was?
more Blacks and Hispanics were on stage than in the entire crowd! I also bet there wasn't one Gay or Lesbian.

So a narrow fringe group of racists, gun nuts, libertarians and haters were used as pawns by conservative pac money and right wing radio to litter the public's lawn to make baseless attacks and were allowed to exercise their first amendment rights- now back to the basement where you belong.

My favorite speaker, and emblematic of the type of people at the event, was the Car Dealer who claimed the "government" stole his dealership away from him and will give it to someone else for free. Real story? His dealership (Island Jeep/Mitsubishi) had one of the worst reputations as liars and crooks and Chrysler shut him down.

http://www.dealerrater.com/dealer/Island-Jeep-Mitsubish... /

"My Review of Island Jeep Mitsubishi:
The dealership is full of liars. They will tell you anything, even advertise on the internet discounts and wont honor it. I had an ad they posted on Auto Trader for a 2005 Chevy Avalanche for $2000 less then the sales mes quote.

The sales manager at the 12th hour said he could not sell it to me for that price. He also would not honor a $500.00 coupon from ther own internet advertisement. He said, "I'll look into it"I spoke to the owner after 10 emails and phone calls as to the poor communication as to the 150,000 mile warranty for free and my $500 rebate. They brushed me off as "we'll look into it" and that was the end.

I filed a complaint against them to Auto trader.com and I see they are no longer there, either they were kicked off the site for lying or AutoTrader sanctioned them.
I wouldnt recommend them to anyone I know. No wonder there going out of business. I am not surprised that they were closed down due to the years of complaints against them from consumers to the parent company.

The sales manager is not creditable at all. Any deal that the sales staff write up is not honored nor approved by him. What he will do ,is at the 12th hour, when you arrive with your wife or the whole family is tell you, "I cant sell it to you for that low price",then he'll jack it up $2,000,take it or leave it. Well what choice do you have after you sold your old car and took a cab to the Island Jeep dealer to pick up your new car.

THERS MORE BUT BEST ADVISE IS STAY AWAY !!!!!!!"

Holy shit. I am sure this wingnut talking point is birthing as I write.

And DON'T FORGET TO MENTION all you broadcast and cable new anchors that fascist pig Newt G was responsible for passing
Federal legislation prohibiting barring the federal agencies from providing crowd size estimates.

12. 50,000 is WEAK...
Especially when Beckkk has been promoting it since March and supposedly people came from all over the U.S. for what was dubbed the "conservative revolution". Let's not ever take these people serious. Ever. Let's stop even trying to make these people happy with legislation. Some people will never be happy, let's stop making policies trying to appease these people. I'm all for freedom of speech and freedom to protest, but that was their defining moment and maybe Washington would have listened if they had anywhere near what represented a majority, I have more people in my town than that. Let's not let what equals one small town define our policies and obstruct progression for an entire nation. BTW Not only did Beckkk say there were only 60,000 people there, He himself never even attended. Basically he threw his zombies under the bus.
