He also notes he will not apologize on the floor of the House, it is all politics, he blames all the town hall meetings he has had as the reason he couldn't hold his tongue and that his apologizing to the President & VP was enough and that is all he plans to do. He then goes on to say he was proven right in fact.

He also claimed that he actually provided a service in that the Democrats have now altered to bill to reflect his concerns.

_________

This is the next turd blossom to step up to the plate now that Rove has been ducking the spotlight. Supposedly he has topped ONE MILLION DOLLARS now against his Democratic opponent. Guess there is no lack of money on the Right for one of their own kind. http://www.actblue.com/entity/fundraisers/19079

First Birthers, then Deathers - now Mouthers... will it ever end?

1. Boy, Joe The Liar is sure shaky in that video.
He knows a shitstorm is coming his way, and that censure is definitely in the works without a formal apology from him in front of Congress.

He screwed the pooch, big time.

Life sucks when it makes you own up to your fuck-ups.

3. if anyone had done that to Reagan, etc there would be a firestorm by the GOP

but they have slowly but surely led themselves down the muddy path of say-anything, do-anything politics and if you heard Lindsey Graham's portion of the show, he basically called the speech 'a disaster for President Obama' so they will say whatever they can to try to keep their measly supporters sucking at the teat.

The construction of death camps would have begun immediately.

6. "No I didn't. Honest...
I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD."

8. Responsibility hasn't been a strong suit for Republicans
I hope the House Dems moves forward and put a permanent blot on his record.

Regardless of the cache he thinks his action gives him among the faithful. History will judge him and award him with a dubious distinction, at best.

15. That's one concept that seems to elude them
Now its become a contest for who can be the most absurd and outrageous, and it is snowballing. The republican party assured its decline and eventual demise by catering to the extremists. Now they're afraid if they abandon the wackos, they'll have nothing left at all.

11. Okay. I think the House SHOULD
reprimand him. They've got to stick to the rules!

What I FEAR, is that the White House will use their influence to dissuade the House from following through.
Yes, I see yellow belly in the White House these days.

I will be happy to be wrong about this. Just watch.

32. Yippee! I was wrong!
At the White House, spokesman Bill Burton called the coming vote "House business," saying that the president already had accepted Wilson's apology.

He said he was passionate after all those town hall meetings. Well, thank God he didn't start his day with The Godfather series.

19. So much for "personal responsibility"
I suppose the killers of the Holocaust Museum guard and abortion doctor were also similarly "provoked" and just happened to be carrying firearms. If liberals would just cease to exist, conservatives would no longer be subjected to this type of unwanted "provocation".

20. You are fooling yourself if you think this will hurt him
or else you just don't understand the south and all the other conservative Republicans. Underneath it is all about race. We know lots of people in SC and especially in his Hilton Head district. He will be overwhelmingly re-elected and probably be elected to the Senate when there is an opening there from SC. The $ million plus he has gotten since he did this is no lie. They are racists and will do anything to destroy Obama. This outburst has made Joe Wilson's career.

I swear, the next time I see a Republican officeholder in the street, I'm going to howl, "Where is your birth certificate? Why won't you show me your birth certificate? I heard you're not even a citizen. I don't wanna be taken over by Sri fucking Lanka or wherever the hell you're from!"

31. Of course he was. He's a republican, therefore, not responsible for anything bad.
He would be an absolute laughing stock if our country wasn't so filled with so many low-life's who go along with him. I really don't recall being around people like this since the playground during elementary school. Only now that they are adults (in age only), no one is around to keep the order. It's up to us to put them in their place.
