I used to be mystified about why other businesses weren't pushing for the government to take over the expenses of health insurance when so many of their international competitors had that advantage. It didn't make economic sense to me.
But then I saw the networks of relationships with so many execs on each others' boards, voting on each others' pay packages and corporate policies.
I hope They Rule dot net is updated too.

6. You mean that hodge podge of corporate entities hiding behind the curtain? |

The ones that hope it never dawns on the masses that health care, in and of itself, is infrastructure to the body. As necessary as the utilities in our homes or the roadways for our cars. The special interests here are nothing more than sadistic status shepherds who feed insecurity and create hysteria to conceal their pilfering.
When people needlessly die because to prevent it isn't cost effective, shouldn't someone, somewhere, be charged with murder? The rule of law, thanks to the Bushco notion of interpretation, has left us a country in the midst of an identity crisis. We're not caterpillars any more, but not yet the butterfly which will hopefully emerge from these growing pains.
BTW, get ready to be green with envy folks- Thom does his show right here in river city and I listen on KPOJ; I've offered to bring him home made chocolate chip cookies, but have yet to hear back, a bummer for him, I make a mean cookie and like to deliver them warm.
Mr. Hartmann, thank you for the way you fight the good fight, it's always an entertaining education.

7. Looks to me that Thom should wear darker clothes or jackets for television.... |
|
he comes off too 'pasty" with his comfortable well groomed, stylish, light summery clothes.
I enjoy Hartmann each day on his radio show, which I listen to on the Internet, never seen him on video before, except on these DU clips which are always an excellent slice of his daily radio show.
