This isn't really directed at your comment necessarily. I think what the President said is no bad thing.

It sometimes feels to me like the world is upside down. An entertainer does something outrageous and it is safe to frown upon it, even call him a jackass. What an entertainer does, is after all important? On the other hand, a political opponent supports a policy that impoverishes or even kills Americans and one has to act all polite, refined, or unreal.
