On June 28, 2007, Michael Moore was to be interviewed about his movie, 'SICKO', by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall St. But apparently the big money managers and the insurance companies made sure Moore was denied entry onto the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Money and greed in this nation now come long before that which is moral and right!

3. Thanks, I missed the beginning of the interview. Maria did not
know what to say about not being allowed on the floor. Moore did a great job in response to her questions.

4. Remember 9/11 at the NYSE? I guess this is what Bush meant when he said
9/11 was because they 'hate us for our freedoms'.

And the thought of Moore so close to all that health insurance money must have dampened some silk underwear.

13.  "Sleep Now in the Fire" video shoot
On January 26, 2000, filming of the music video for "Sleep Now in the Fire" – directed by Michael Moore – caused the doors of the New York Stock Exchange to be closed, and the band to be escorted from the site by security, although trading continued uninterrupted. The Stock Exchange locked its doors midday in response to fears of crowds gathering to watch the filming. Footage of enthusiastic Wall Street employees headbanging to Rage's music was used in the final video. “We decided to shoot this video in the belly of the beast”, said Moore, who was threatened with arrest during the shooting of the video, despite the band having a federal permit to perform.

16. Wow- she actually said that?
CNBC's Maria Bartiromo said if she became
seriously ill, she would want to be treated in the US
because " we have the best doctors"?

Has she ever been outside the US?
Has she ever been injured or ill outside the US?

I have and I've got news for her.

Doctors in Sweden, Germany, Canada, and Mexico
were just as good and in certain instances better!

What a narrow minded twit statement she made.

You go Michael. Hopefully, the next time you're
interviewed, they will pick a reporter knows what
she's talking about.

18. Actually, I think it worked out well with this reporter.
It gave him the opportunity to blow away a bunch of right-wing talking points, something he's very good at.

I also think that banning him from the NYSE worked in his favor. It made them look petty and stupid.

19. You are right.

Michael had a great opportunity to blow
that neocon BS right out of the water, and
he did just that!

Shutting him out made them look stupid
and very afraid of him.

;-)

21. One thing I wish Michael would address is the real costs when it
comes to health care. In Canada, The U.K. and France taxes are roughly the same or a little more than what we pay in the states. But when factoring American tax percentage I feel they should also be including the cost of health insurance in. That means we in America actually pay roughly 45% tax when looked at in that perspective. Plus when we get sick we still have to pay a deductible/percentage and our HMO's can deny payment if they find a loophole. We really have a messed up system. Thank god for Michael Moore exposing the scheme.
