At a health care rally at a Maryland university, a protester began shouting, prompting boos and President Obama to pause. The man apparently yelled "Obama you're a liar. Obama, your health care kills children. Abortion is murder."

That is exactly how the 'disrupters' should be handled and I don't really care which side they are on (sorry Code Pink I would have to include you in this). We can't denigrate the RW people who try to disrupt meetings and interfere with a speakers right to be heard if we don't extend the same courtesy to all speakers (silent protests of some kind ie stand and turn your back on the speaker would be okay by me). If these people insist on being obnoxious then they should be quickly and efficiently removed from the forum, no questions asked, no second chance. There are many forums available for people to express their free speech rights but to use that right to interfere with other people to hear a speaker they have come to hear is an abuse of that right and should be limited. Now on the other hand if you want to stand outside the venue and scream your lungs out more power to you.

I am not comparing the two groups based on the ends they are trying to meet, I definitely support Code Pinks efforts, I am comparing methods of disrupting meetings in order to control other people hearing a speaker or other views. Are Code Pinks methods as obnoxious as the 'teabaggers'? I'm not sure and if they aren't maybe it was a bad example. Again it wasn't so much which group I picked or what they stand for as much as the idea that whether the disrupters are right or left wing this is an abuse of their first amendment rights and they should be shown the door.

Code Pink is horrible PR. Their motives are pure but they do not appeal to anyone outside the base. The same can be said for the teabaggers (who are idiots).

Alienating the "middle of the road" is not such a good idea if you want to win. But apparently, you prefer to enjoy yourself. Go for it!
