Put together by a Clark supporter who's hoping for an '08 run...as are a lot of us....."We concede nothing!"

1. Wouldn't It Be Nice If Wes Quit Teasin'?
Edited on Sat Jun-30-07 07:51 AM by Dinger
I'll forgive him once he runs, or maybe his preconditions are waiting for Al Gore to run and have Wes as his VP?
I'll forgive him then, but damn, I'm chompin' at the bit!

3. This won't be popular but I have to tell you...
I heard something over 2 years ago that made me go hmm. Someone very well known in Iowa politics was telling a theory about Clark's campaign in '04 and future ambitions for '08. I'm not a big conspiracy theory fan so I won't go into the details. His point was this....

Clark will be running.

As the VP on a Hillary Clinton ticket.

I know how Clark supporters feel about some candidates, its no suprise you don't care for the one I support, but I'm curious how you feel about a Clinton/Clark ticket? I guess I don't pay enough attention to know how the majority of Clark supporters feel about Hillary Clinton.

I am interested to know because in '08 we have an election to win...no matter who is on the ticket.

4. That is the strangest thing

I also heard something, again rumor, and I do hate to be involved in rumor spreading. The point was this....

Edwards is a loser.

I know how Edwards supporters feel about some candidates, its no surprise you're talking trash about WKC being somehow pre-arranged as a VP for Hillary, but I'm curious to know how you feel about Edwards finally giving up the phony politician, say anything, do anything for votes thing? I guess I don't pay enough attention.

I am interested to know because in 2008, Thompson or Giuliani will smoke Hillary, Edwards or Obama. Hope for Thompson, at least he isn't crazy.

2. What a great way to wake up
Edited on Sat Jun-30-07 08:38 AM by merci_me
I immediately recognized the clips and it brought back such great memories of the 2006 Texas Democratic State Convention, where Wes brought down the house as our keynote speaker. Few people there had ever seen Wes and were blown away. The hall was electric!!

Here's a link to the entire speech, which I just finished watching again. It's long (about 40 minutes) but save the link and watch when you can. It's a 4th of July upper.
