32. "continue more of the Same"
Would be the end of the USA, if another crew like BushCo had control again.

I don't think the American people are that stupid, but I could be wrong.

The people still hanging on to the GOP must really hate America, or be totally ignorant.

5. Ummm...not quite, Dild O'Reilly. Shhh...don't mention "CUMES"!
Edited on Sat Sep-19-09 09:03 PM by LynnTheDem
"Fox Tops CNN as Choice for Cable News," declared one typical headline in the Chicago Tribune. "Fox News Channel Continues to Crush CNN," reported Knight Ridder in a column comparing the rivalry to a party primary titled, "Fox News Channel is winning the Nielsen caucuses." Last August, the New York Times Magazine declared, looking back at the period of the Iraq invasion, "Fox was – and still is – trouncing CNN in the ratings."

After exposure to countless similar stories published since January 2002, when Fox was reported to have surpassed CNN in the Nielsen ratings, one might naturally conclude that Fox has more viewers than CNN.

But it's not true. On any given day, more people typically tune to CNN than to Fox.

The O'Reilly Factor is the best-rated show on Fox, with about 2 million viewers a night. CBS Evening News, the least-watched broadcast network evening news show, routinely gets four or five times as big an audience, and that's seen as a ratings disaster. Fox's flagship news show, Special Report with Brit Hume, gets a million viewers on a good night – a few thousand more than the local newscast of New York City's WNBC.

faux, while having a fair bit of influence on the national debate, are at then end of the day, not THAT influential. The real problem for this admin, and indeed america itself is Hate radio. Rush Limbaugh gets far, far more listeners than any of the channels do.

25. The thing about Fox "news"
and hate radio, is that they PROMOTE, financially and on air,
the "protests" that are supposedly "grass
roots." They do everything, spend millions to denigrate
our President, then whine when Democrats (finally) say
"no more." President Obama needs to REINSTATE THE
FAIRNESS DOCTRINE, this would make a huge difference in what
these (all) "media" outlets could say without having
to include the points of view of others. This "FCC
rule" worked for us for decades. Then Raygun said
"the content of media should be determined by the free
market." The truth was sold to the highest bidder. Level
the playing field for us, the poor people.

9. Fox News Is So Insignificant That It's Not Even Funny
How many viewers do they get? 1 or 2 million? That's nothing. Sure in the micro world of cable news that may mean something, but in the larger, grander scheme of things, it means absolutely nothing. NOTHING.

The network evening news carries far more sway with the public. Sarah Palin was destroyed in her interview with Katie Couric, and that did more to damage her than anything else.

Does Fox get viewers? Yes, because they pander to them. If you put a porn channel on basic cable, it too would get the same amount of viewers.

10. They're denying the fact
that 98% of Americans don't watch Fox. They have a niche audience that adheres to right wing politics as if it were a religion. Since Fox has no competition for that audience, the statistics are spun to make it look like the majority is watching Fox.
They're blowing smoke up their audience's ass, but their audience is primarily bigoted rubes and poorly educated dupes.

gee, who are the crybabies? I wonder why? until they get their act together and start acting like a news organization and not a 24/7 lie fest of right wing propaganda, you don't get the access. Bush and Cheney ONLY went on Fox and snubbed the other mainstream media- it's your turn. Obama went on fox a few times and he did very well, i guess they have just decided to Pinch off the increasingly stinkin fox loaf.

YOU LIE!

These people are beyond shameless... they are out in out liars.. they try to create their own
events, they are NOT news at all. They are entertainment for those who want to disrupt American
politics with their insane, and inane commentary, none of which is NEWS.

They are nothing more then a mouth for the Republican right wing media, they insight violence, they encourage racism, and they are so far from fair and balanced,~~ that because they keep saying it, they think people will believe it.

I really and truly hope a day comes when they implode.. and fall into their own lowly crap. They should be charged and fined with a hate crime over, and over, and over again until they can not stand one minute on their financial feet.

Obama should ignore them, and not even allow them in the White House.

Go to friggen Hell.. Fox News.. take your hate spew with you!

I agree with your point 110% (or more), but I did have to chuckle at your use of "out in out". The correct phrase, of course, is "out and out", though I like your version much better!

14. O'lielly, the idiots beck and hannity
are a huge pile of human excrement. They offer nothing positive in their views. Always on the attack with lies, lies and more lies.

That's why they are part of the KKKonservanzi republiKlan party. Stupid racist pigs.

I guess Murdoch's News Corp. keeps the republiKlan party's propaganda machine going. Fox Noise ain't news. Far from it. Only the dedicated true believer wingnuts think it is the truth. How f*cking sick is that? Like: "I heard on Fox news yesterday......." If it's on Faux News, it's probably one big lie.

AS time goes on, if Obama has health care reform passed through Congress, Fox Noise's hate talking idiots will turn up the heat on racism. They have to. That's all they have left. The race card. Then, we shall see what happens next.

The whole bunch that believes the Fox Noise bu$hit think they are the only true Americans and they are the majority. All they have to do is convince the rest of us that their lies and racist drivel is the truth and the way to saving the country.

21. What?
I can't understand. I lie about the president, and try to destroy him. Now I can't understand why he is not being nice to me. Bill O'reilly has gone to school to study his craft. I admire that.
What I can not understand, is why would a person, that dedicated so much time learning their craft,be so willing, to destroy it.
He may be popular, but he will not be remembered. Or perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps he will be remembered as a person that had talent, but had no idea of how to use it.
He claims to be a Christian. I do not know any Christians willing to praise war.
As a Christian, he should despise war, poverty, and without a doubt...lies. But he seems to relish in the business of lies.

Obama is too dignified to fight with Faux News. They try to say there is a war between them and the White House when the fact is that they are simply being ignored by the White House and they're whining about it.

maybe 20% of the viewers who are not going to vote democratic anyway. The other networks alone may get beat by FOX but as a group they kill FOX.
