6. Yah, sure. Anywhere Scandihoovians live in any numbers. |

Heck, I'm only a Norwegian by marriage (via my wife), and I find the expression very useful. It's kind of a catch all expletive. I'm dedicated to spreading it around. I've even been known to say Fi da! and Ish da!

"You want Me to bless this cardboard cut-out. Well, okay, I guess." And from that moment on, that cardboard cut-out "lived" the most blessed existence any cardboard cut-out before or after it ever had.
There are two magic stores in my town, and I'm on good terms with both owners. They're both pretty staunch conservatives, and one of them likes to argue with me just because I won't back down, and he admires that. One time when I went into his shop after Bush was "elected," I complimented him on the wonderful placement of his George Bush cardboard cut-out. He asked me what the hell I was talking about, and I just said that I liked the statement he was making with it. He stared at the front window where it was at for 30 seconds before he realized I was commenting on his placement of it next to a cut-out of the 3 Stooges. Next time I came in, Bush was on top of the Pepsi machine.

8. It's a very poor recording. I had to jack my speaker's amp up |
|
to get it. The little fundies were extending their hands, as if GWB was Gebus, himself. The teacher fundie was asking them to say Hello to Gebus W. Bushit and to ask him questions. I'm not sure she knew it was just a cardboard cutout of a man, since GWB was pretty much that in the flesh, too. And the little fundie lambs ate it up.
I think I heard some tongue-speaking in there, too.
