Let me get this straight, singing a song about what President Obama is doing for the country, wrong. Praising a cardboard cut out of Bushie, now that's the ticket.

4. I'm a magician/balloon twister on the side
And as such, I'm on pretty good terms with the guys who own the two magic stores in my town. They're both pretty conservative, and we give each other shit over each others' views. When Bush was first "elected," I walked into on of the stores and complimented the owner on his negative opinion of Bush. He asked me what the hell I was talking about, and I replied that it's good to see your putting Bush in his place. He started looking around his store until he looked at the front windows where he had placed a cardboard cut-out of Bush next to one of the 3 Stooges. He laughed, but the next time I came in, Bush was on top of the Pepsi machine next to Judy Garland in her Wizard of Oz role. So I asked him, "So now you're saying that Bush is a Friend of Dorothy?" He jokingly invited me to go have marital relationships with myself, adding that I would probably be able to find something "bad" no matter where he put the cut-out.

5. I had a mobile DJ service for years and we were always busy.
I worked with a lot of magicians and the like at many different events, and of course I belonged to a number of the different business and wedding associations in the area. It always surprised me at how conservative many of the other people that worked my industry, and let's face it, these were not moneyed people.

Eventually I chalked it up to Ronnie, as most of these people came up when Ronnie was Pres. Other than that, my only thought was that they all hoped to be filthy rich one day and were just practicing until the day came.
