There is this late night show on FOXNEWS that is really great. It features some bright young people talking about issues that affect us all. This week's discussion involves the recent LIVE EARTH CONCERTS and Al Gore and Tipper Gore and how maybe if they spent a little more time parenting and a little less time fretting about a problem (Global Warming) that there isn't even a scientific consensus about, maybe their child wouldn't de a doper.
In "Knocked Up", the new movie, (now in theatres) REDEYE even gets a nod!

I'm sure if we were all that interested, we would tune in. This poster, although he's certainly free to do so, seems to post crap from all the rightwing lunatic shows. You're right, "why should I care?" These clips just serve to bring attention to people who should otherwise be totally ignored.

what the hell you're talking about.
It's important to know what's out there and also to have a sense of humor.
I don't like the tone or the group beat-up that's going on here. Is this the scary DU that I've heard about, the one that Cindy Sheehan was talking about?
My feelings are really hurt
I post Chomsky/Buckley videos and Marcy Wheeler on Hardball explaining the facts or General Odom and Wesley Clark's comments on Olbermann etc etc.
So take back what you said and also understand that we all have to know how the other side is thinking.
You really pissed me off with those comments and I hope you'll take them back after seeing all the time and effort that I put into posting to this site first.

known long before your arrival "how the other side is thinking". We've always known that, and it's never gonna change. I stand by my original assertion, that the rightwing talking heads deserve nothing more than to be ignored, and made completely irrelevant by those of us on the left.

We already know the media is RW. FOX being horribly RW.

AND, we won't hear about the Bush daughters compared to the Gore son. Or, in the same report noting Rush carries his own drug store, nor any other RWers kids. Nor how the police managed to search his vehicle, or how did they get a warrant so fast. So, WHY BOTHER, it's just RW talking points hyped?

So people are upset about their time being wasted, and the time-waster, as I see it, gets angry for being told that, THIS ONE, could just be a waste of time.

Don't push people to respond to controversy. Name the actions, e.g. waste-of-time, not the DUers.

I don't mind RW information on DU, but I like it so labeled because I don't have time most of the time I'm here.

There are destroyers on DU and they come in many forms, e.g. those who will claim another to be in a habit of posting RW hype, AND those who will post RW hype, to name two.

A good thing to learn is where and how to shine enough light on their statements, so the rest of us can go on with our day to day duties and still have time to garner a remaining treasure chest of DU information and turn in into action.

I do wish that everyone would label RW hype as trash, and sarcasm, when used, as such. I'd appreciate it and I think many others too.
