1. I agree with everything Cindy says on here!!!!!!!!

She wants the democrats to follow thru with all the promises they made before the election.
They were going to impeach,end the war bring the troops home.They have done nothing!!!!!!!!!!
She expects a commitment from the dems and sure as hell isnt getting it.
How can anyone find fault for that????

2. From what I am reading here ...

party loyalists see Cindy as a threat and object to her current efforts to effect change or stay involved.

That's fine with me. The more opposition she gets, the more her efforts and platform will stand out. Every politician knows that this is how media and public opinion works. I don't know if the detractors see or realize that.

What concerns me is that we have had two actors move from film and into government seamlessly. We have see one, rather prominent, but total failure at life and business, (by many standards) rise to the Presidency by hook or by crook, (more by crook we now see). But, when a person who has talked the talk and walked her walk, (thereby capturing some media attention) in order to make a point as an activist, makes note that she might run as an independent for office, some people feel threatened and react negatively as if she is a major threat. What gives there?

Personally, I would love to see people risk giving up their allegiance to the pomp and circumstance and vernier of the groomed and moneyed players that have been able to illicit and manipulate a false form of confidence, respectability, and assurance that they are fit to govern us.

Considering the results to date, it would be refreshing, and even exciting, to see more common folks motivated by serious intent and experiences and empathy for their people run for office and win. It is hard to imagine that the potential benefits totally outweigh the imagined risks at this juncture.

3. You GO, Girl!

Cindy has said CLEARLY she wants to challenge Nancy Pelosi to follow through with her commitments to bring our troops home AND proceed with impeaching the criminals in the White House. I will do everything I can to support her activism.

Just an aside, has anyone else noticed how the news producers package these offensive talking head 'news' programs now? All the camera action and busy, high tech 'glam' sets are supposed to hold our attention? I find this formatting grossly offensive and patently condescending.

All this Cindy Sheehan hate talk seems useless. 
Some sound like an Ann Coulter. 
What's going on here? 
Acid has been just churning away in my stomach over how much
damage on a daily basis the Bush administration does. I sit
here hoping we don't war with Iran, hoping I'm not the one
who's phones are tapped & records investigated, hoping
that too much money and guns haven't gone to the enemy so that
they can attack, hoping there isn't another Katrina, hoping
for the Iraq war to end and that we'll never be able to make
it up with them and the world for that matter, on and on ... I
am going to join her on July 23rd because she is taking some
ACTION here. I have to at least DO something waiting and
hoping aren't working out too well for me.

8. Does it matter WHO turned against who?

Republicans vs Democrats. Democrats vs, Republicans.
Republicans are making a mess of things and the Democrats in charge seem to be taking baby steps to stop things.
I've done enough writing to politicians and newspapers. I guess these too are baby steps that don't seem to work.
I'm taking action out of frustration over all this.
Ask for the day off, call in sick, join us in DC on the 23rd.
