Of course Moore meant, you go to the hospital, and you don't get a bill from the hospital. It is free in that sense.
Taxes will be used to pay for it, and that is okay. Most of the taxes will come from the richest in society, and that is unashamedly the way it should be. Let us all face the facts; the rules are made by the incredibly rich. We should not be ashamed of them paying huge taxes, and for health care.
Complaints about waiting for elective services are ridiculous, and finally the other night he pointed out the truth. The reason there are waits is people are getting the health care that would not get it here, especially preventive care. Face-lifts, or knee replacements may have to wait a bit.
Health care if you have all the money in the world is probably among the best in the world in the united states. But if you consider everyone, it sucks. People should have it, irregardless of whether the wealthy have to pay taxes. People are short on empathy and imagination these days, and that can turn out to be a bad thing if you happen to be the one who is under that "ton of bricks," when they fall on you. Do you really want to bet your life because wealthy people will have to pay more?

2. Wow, you mean they use TAXES to pay for health care in those countries? |
|
And here I was thinking that they just used a magic lamp or something.

3. They finally get to the relevant question at the last 12 seconds |

Note that the 30% of people who didn't have enough $ for health care roughly matches those that don't have "confidence" in the system in the US, whatever that means.
Jesus, how stupid do these idiots think people are? It's all a matter of what the mass of the populace can force the richer elements of society to pay for. And right now, that isn't much.
