Fareed Zakaria, giving voice to the Beltway consensus, said: It is time to get real about Afghanistan. Withdrawal is not a serious option. Does this mean that 51 to 53% of the American people simply aren't serious? The Church of the Savvy, as today's guest Jay Rosen calls them, clearly think so.

So if this is a country that is run by its people, determined
by the elected and appointed seats. put into power by this
process, then they must do as we say and we, the American
people, have spoken.

This poll shows 51% wins us the vote. 

But I just heard Katie Couric say 63% or 68% of us are
opposed.

I think Obama needs us to stand up. He cannot do it alone.

Can we see through the duplicity and be unstoppable?

I think so.

Stay on purpose.  Have character, intelligence and goodwill
operating at all times.
Make intelligent and informative Demonstrations and be bold
enough to Make Claims and argue for them Passionately.  
How you know your passion is working?  You have the ability to
arouse or allay the emotions of another,
without interfering inside of their beliefs systems.   You
feel it.  They feel it. That is enough.

Powerful those Three Offices of Truth left to us by Aristotle
so we can choose and hold accountable those who are electable.
And we look after those who are appointed using the press to
see what they are up to.  

Come on you guys, stop hating me and move it. We don't have a
lot of time to make a change here.   We have to do it.
But we have to model what we are doing and that means we have
to use language to get our needs met.  Not violence.  
Trim tabs... just release some pressure on having change take
place.  It is hard, but worth the effort.
