This is what a man of peace (1964 Nobel Peace Prize Winner) speaks, and my, how he truly deserved to be called a peaceful man.
Without further comment other than I wish Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were still alive today to speak to the president.

1. Did MLK condemn the civil war and revolutionary war?

2. I don't know, look it up. People should continue to push for peace at all costs, regardless.

And still fight with words and the support of the people to make change. Too often men get their bloodlust riled up and need something to start bombing. However many thousands of skirmishes and wars have been fought over the eons, there's few that couldn't have been avoided with people working together to solve problems. When it comes to things like an insane man burning and gassing people by the millions, then obviously, brute force will have to be used on an unwilling enemy to humankind. The Civil War and Revolutionary War are large scale fights that had their merit, but I believe Dr. King's disgust of the Vietnam War, certainly applies to what this invasion force in Afghanistan is doing. This invasion force isn't about the 9/11, and it's bizarre to see Obama send 30,000 additional troops to the 70,000 over there already, to put nearly a quarter million troops overseas in wars that shouldn't have been.

Much like Michael Moore, I am for ops groups going and taking out men that are killing people and won't stop, sure, American forces can help out another country with that - but a large scale invasion force is just overkill - and that's exactly what's going to happen - overkill. It's perverse.

10. Are you seriously trying to compare the Afghan war
to the American civil and revolutionary wars? LMAO.
only Bush would do something as absurd as that.

6. The decision on the Afghan surge will be one of the most important of the Obama Presidency.
We do not know what he knows, but we know what we are living with in this country and for the cost of this escalation we must pray that the decision turns out to be better then it appears at this time. The soldiers and their families are the ones that are truly going the extra mile and we must give our support to them because they only do what their leaders tell them to do.
