3. He reall is
I always say we got a win/win with Franken going to the Senate, and Hartmann taking over for him on Air America.

Talk about one reason that our country is so screwed up--look at the fact that Rush Limbaugh is syndicated everywhere, yet Hartmann is mostly on streaming radio. In the South, the area where they most need an honest voice of populism, he is the least available.

I think even most liberals should give him a listen, since they actually think MSNBC is liberal. But look at the stream of generals and pundits brought on the liberal shows lately, supporting and promoting the war without end on Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rarely do they discuss death penalty issues, repeal of drug laws. MSNBC, at best, is a center right network, and the only reason it appears left is that everything is to the left of Fascist FAUX News Corp network.

I also like Cenk a lot. The two of them are my favorites. Thom has more experience in life and more knowledge of history than Cenk. But then, Thom has been around longer. Cenk will catch up. Cenk has a young perspective which I like. Thom has a balanced perspective. I like that too.

I want to encourage both of these guys and not show favoritism.

2. This is like the red herring the Farm Bureau always throws out on farmers' estate taxes.
They always make it sound like every family farm will fold when that farm is passed to the next generation because of the estate tax, when more than 99% of the farms in the U.S. are valued below the threshhold where the tax kicks in. But the FB gets all of their members riled up over something that would benefit the largest mega-farms that are often working against the small family farms.

4. Let's see, we had 30 years of tax cuts for the rich, with an 8 year reprieve under
Clinton. The years when cons ran the show with tax cuts, job growth either remained stagnant or decreased. I guess 30 years wasn't long enough for the jobs to come in, yeah right and Santa is bringing me a little red pony.

Whats even odder is the con supporters, like in the city where I live never seem to get what is plainly in their face. Here we had a Baker/Perkins factory demand their taxes be lowered, the nit wits said yeah lets vote for higher property taxes so Baker/Perkins will keep the factory open and hire more workers an that will lower property taxes with more people working and buying homes.

Sure enough after the special election, it took Baker/Perkins 6 month to pack up all the machines and close the factory, it seems they used their tax cut to pay for them to move everything over to Germany, where Baker/Perkins had to pay more taxes then they were paying to the city and state then they were before the tax cuts. Now these folks are screaming the loudest because their property taxes have increased every year since Baker/Perkins got the tax cuts.

But the nit wits, instead of looking at the good example of tax cut repercussion, blamed the democratics for their raising of taxes that the nit wits voted for to give Baker/Perkins a tax cut. I was like WTF are you people insane?
