He said something there that the Repubs can't handle - reality. They are still dealing in the fantasy of the Beaver Cleaver era that everything is just fine and the corporations are benign and are caring about the rest of the world.

In May, Republicans in the House and the Senate formed a bicameral coalition to produce the130-page “Patients Choice Act of 2009.” In June, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) introduced the “Health Care Freedom Plan,” a 41-page proposal. And in July, the Republican Study Committee, under the leadership of Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), unveiled the “Empowering Patients First Act,” a 130-page plan. Why do the Democrats keep saying that the Repubs haven't had bills when they have?

5. The WORDs are so good, but the Republican bill is in the House and in the Senate |
|
and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are calling it theirs.
I will not be bullshitted by the Democratic poseurs still describing the need for what none of the bills actually being considered will do.
We paid for the words last election, next one is strictly pay for performance.

6. Senator Durbin is Right!!! |

Senator Durbin is exactly right. Where is the Republican bill?
Yeah, they really care about Americans. Can any of these knuckleheads look their constituents in eyes if they were asked about it and give them an honest answer instead of lies. Every time I hear one of them on TV make the claim we care about Main Street I want to throw up. What a bunch of bullshitters. Sure the Democratic bill isn't perfect, but at least they are trying to do something. While they work at it, the Republicans sit on their ass or get up to criticize and stoke hatred among those lunatic tea baggers that Democrats are spending, spending, spending us into long-term debt. Shameful of them.

I posted several of the Republican bills earlier in this thread. I don't understand why Durbin keeps saying that there aren't any.
