5. Even thought I basically agree with Friedman on Afghanistan

Should anyone take anything he says seriously after his cheerleading on the Iraq war. He said some pretty unforgivable things.

and said he "overreacted" after 9/11 (and then said something like "a lot of people did too").

But he totally lost me then.

No amount of special needs are going to cater to idiots like Friedman who have not only been wrong about every single issue, but still feel entitled to be taken seriously.

A Friedman unit, or two, of I don't give a rat's ass what this jackass has to say about anything. How idiots like this guy can live a comfortable existence and draw a nice salary without any real talent or value proposition signifies how much we've devolved as a society, esp. if you take into account the millions who are unemployed or going through a fantastically tough time during the past few years...
