I don't give a hoot if global warming exists or not, if it is man-made or not and I don't want anybody else to care either.

What I care about is the crap my family and I are breathing right now.
Why do we need a friggin global warming scare (real or not) to make people realize that it isn't that good of an idea to continue pumping crap in the air, water or ground?
Most of that crap can be minimized or eliminated but our health doesn't seem to be important enough to these people.

4. I've been screaming this same thing

on another message board. Post after post about the evils of Al Gore and how climate change is not real. I try to scream from the rooftops - "then give a shit about pollution!" but that isn't important. People want to live as comfortably as possible (meaning, pollute and not give a fuck) and not worry about what they do.

8. Wow, I just had an earful from a libertarian friend who used this stuff

to "prove" that global warming is a hoax. It all boils down to this - scientists *have* to report global warming as a danger in order to get funding from the government. I'm still at awe at how so many dedicate their lives to acquiring government funding and then spend their time coming up with false data. That's got to be job satisfaction in spades. One has to wonder if all the university science professors are in on it too. If they don't all subscribe to a secret message board, then the syncronicity is just stunning.

Damn, hackers exposed the whole plot so it must be true. I'm done with the whole environmental thing. I'm going outside right now to burn all my trash just like we used to do in the 60's. After all, it turns to carbon right? And carbon's good for you. So breath in deep when those trucks pass by. That's the stuff of life you're inhaling. Ignore that queasy, light-headed, sick feeling. It's just a conspiracy to stop government funding.

We all get together in our double plus secret meetings and figure out how best we can scare the public. Buahahahahahahaha!

We also get together and figure out how we can force these super intelligent libertarians to drop out of college since they are "too smart" and we can't fully comprehend the magnitude of their "genius." Every libertarian I know is a college drop out, and they all without exception think it was not their fault, but rather that the "academic establishment wasn't good enough for them" or some other silly excuse as to why they could not hack it. I always thought it was mighty funny that people displaying such blatant mediocrity go through life with such overinflated views of their own capacities and contributions. LOL
