6. He makes so much sense ~ |

'The war in Afghanistan is a Racket' ~ we are paying off the Taliban to NOT attack US forces delivering materials that we will then use to attack the Taliban!
Karzai, standing with Gates, says that Afghanistan will need US troops there for the next 15 years. Kucinich says that will cost two trillion dollars. We are propping up a corrupt government and engaging in corruption ourselves by paying off war lords and the Taliban to not attack us, Kucinich says.
He's right, it is a racket which is making some people very rich. And it's true that the Constitution requires a report to Congress on the status of the war, which, he says Congress has not received. It's also true that it is Congress, not the WH or the Generals, who make decisions about war.
But funds are limited for helping the American people get jobs and for health care. But never limited to pour into these wars.
Article 1. Sec. 8 gives Congress the power to decide whether or not this war will continue. I hope Congress will join him in stepping up and doing their duty.

In blind comparisons, where just the positions of the politicians are set out, side by side, the MAJORITY of Democrats are surprised to learn that they are "Kucinich" Democrats!
So am I!!
