5. Aaaand the answer(s) is/are . . . |

On leaving Hawaii: it sucks being a little fish in a big pond.
Existential crisis: who am I, if I'm not the big fish anymore?
No continuity means never having to let people find out who I really am. No continuity means: always a "new" student = less accountability for continued academic performance.
No continuity means: too much work to stay in one college - I'll have to make friends, have to excel at "something" so I can be the big fish again.
I'll just get this college thing overwith as easily as possible so I can get back to my small town Alaska comfort zone where everybody already knows I'm the big fish. Whew!

I hadn't heard that voice, the one about "speculation", in so long that my stomach had calmed down. Next time you reach down to play that clip, I want to be in the studio with you so when I projectile vomit, I can be pointed in your direction.

10. I think they are "speculating" |
|
that she was sleeping around and partying to hard and getting a reputations, so she had to run.
Can you see them doing this to any male politician? This grossly sexist.

As someone who's listened to the show for two years I can answer that question: Yes. Many times.
Google 'Republican Sexcapades' which used to be a regular segment (in fact there have been two segments in the last week or so w/ Cliff Schecter, author of The Real McCain) and see for yourself.

13. Speculating on their college partying and hinting on their college |

sex lives?
All the reports I've seen about Republican Sexcapades have dealt with their sex lives while in office.

How many other politicians went to a six different colleges for one undergrad degree? This also ties in the Palin family hypocrisy (see abstinence only, Bristol's baby saga) and the general conservative family values theme we often see, i.e. do as I say, not as I do.
Also, as you know there's a double standard and a man sleeping around in college wouldn't be looked down on by many (not fair obviously, but true). So a young man wouldn't have the motivation to run from the situation. In conclusion I don't disagree with someone arguing that there isn't nearly enough evidence for this speculation (assuming that was Cenk's point, and I haven't asked him so I'm not 100% sure of that for the record), but I do disagree with a sexism charge here. Personally I think Cenk and Ana should have left it at Palin's father's comments because they're pretty damn incriminating!
