I really don't know where to start with that one. Well, the Iranian people weren't all that anxious for the US to invade. They would rather overthrow Ahmadinejad, hang him and a mullah or two from lamp posts and form their own government without our help. (Ms. Coulter has one thing right, they are an educated people, so she should at least give them credit for being capable of doing it themselves.) The idea that every one in Afghanistan is al Qaida is just a typical Ann Coulter smear. She has long had an unfortunate habit of mistaking invective for serious argument. Finally, she claims that America changes the regime of the vanquished nation every time there is a war. Excuse me, but I missed who we set up in General Santa Anna's place in 1848 or who we made the new King of Spain in 1898. Perhaps Ms. Coulter could fill me in. While it is true that we did replace the regimes in Germany and Japan after World War II (the Italians took care of the Fascisti themselves), there is important difference: those fucking Nazis in Germany and those fucking imperialists* in Japan actually started the war.

*All imperialists are fucked up. I can understand why Ms. Coulter, who still thinks the war in Iraq was a great idea, has a problem with this.
