Because that's patently untrue. The video did not give context. It's a nice movie, but pay attention is very vague.

Are we talking about the speech today and the disturbingly Bush-esque policy that was uttered? Or is the the New Jersey State Senate President saying that gay marriage can wait? Is it that the summit in Copenhagen is a huge pollutant? Or that Hillary Clinton is about to defend war funding to the Senate?
