1. Just about 390 days ago, I tried to change my DU avatar from

Kucinich to Obama but being the computer klutz I remain, Dennis Kucinich remained my avatar.

(And big bucks he paid me to do that, too I'll confess!)

Anyway, three weeks after his election, Obama was interviewed by "60 Minutes." And one of the first thing he said was "Hank is working hard."

This was a huge wake up moment for me. A "Good Job there, Brownie," moment.

Oh shit, I said to self. We have been played.

It is interesting to note that when Kucinich went on the Congressional record to hammer away at Kashkari, one of the things he said was this, "We all know that you and Paulson are working hard. What I would like to know is 'Who are you WORKING FOR?' "

It is now being said that if Obama and Pelosi had not pressured key members of the House and Senate to vote in the Bailout, perhaps that would not have occurred.

Or at least, the Bailout would not have occurred without some regulations!

Tears are almost rolling down my face in laughter! I absolutely love Max for just telling it like it is. I've seen him on foreign televison, but there is no way in hell any of the corporate US networks are going to have him on.

Great stuff, Max, as always. However, I liked even better your interview with the Aussie economist on your RT show. Very enlightening stuff -- especially with regards to public vs. private debt in the US, and our collective aversion to certain buzzwords that prevents us from addressing the problem.
