Just look at the results.
Someday, hopefully soon, people will look back on the demonization of a useful plant with embarrassment.
How much money is wasted trying to control a harmless plant, and punishing those who do nothing to hurt others?

3. To those of you that think this is too harsh of a drug to give kids, I'll remind you that- |
|
asthmatic kids are given steroids to treat their symptoms.

5. They aren't the steroids I think you're thinking of, though. |
|
There are two kinds of steroids. The body building kind and the anti-inflammatory kind. It is the latter kind of steroids that asthmatic kids take.

One is anabolic (like testosterone) and one is a glucocortico steroid (like cortisol). They are different and have different effects on the body. But, they both have some really shitty side effects; you're right about that.

7. Kids are also routinely given Ritalin, Adderall, and other mind altering drugs which often have bad |
|
side effects. This whole anti-marijuana stance is just more fucking bullshit brought to you by our greedy corporations and our corrupt government. :puke:

4. "on a drug...." "Get addicted?" |
|
What the fuck does the doctor think all the other drugs are, if not drugs? As for getting addicted, I am SO SICK of that bullshit when it comes to marijuana. There is no physical addiction to marijuana. Period. As for psychological addiction to it, well, there's psychological addictions to food and to exercise, but we don't outlaw those.

6. The real CRIMINALS are our government and the corporations that lobby to keep marijuana illegal |
|
and help fund brainwashing programs like DARE and shit like that. You know, the pharmaceutical industry, the timber industry, the oil industry, the tobacco industry, and the alcohol industry. All would be hurt if weed were made legal. Hell it was the Hearst family that got it made illegal back in 1937 cause he knew all the land he bought for timber for his paper would be worthless compared to the ultra-cheap paper to be made from hemp. Marijuana is natural, and when baked in food, can be one of the most miraculous substances on the planet. Just ask the lady in this vid or anyone suffering from AIDS, glaucoma, cancer, or many other problems. What fucking business is it of the governments anyways if we prefer marijuana over their legal death substances alcohol and tobacco? It's all a big fucking scam/lie and I will damn well smoke it if I want to! I'm so sick of all our government's lies and bullshit! :grr:

9. While there's no testing to show that marijuana is effective for autism, |
|
I honestly just can't get worked up over this. She isn't doing anything that will cause him permanent harm, at worst she'll get ahold of some really strong stuff and scare the hell out of him. At least she's not putting him through chelation or shock therapy or any other harmful pseudoscience. Hope it works out for them.
