2. i would hope that Gore does not waste his time or ours, or give any credence to the barracuda
by even considering a debate with her.
He should never even appear in the same city that she is in.

3. I believe the opposite... people want this debate
Time once and for all to bring it on, that's what I say.

Let's debate it and settle it.

4. It would be a no-lose situation for the barracuda, and a no-win situation for Mr. Gore.
It would give her credence she in no way deserves.

11. people want this debate
But there's nothing to debate.

"people" may think there's some kind of controversy (like with evolution) but there simply isn't. Deniers are wrong. Period. That's not an opinion. The facts and the info we have collected do not conclude that Sarah's ideas are viable. I know that's not the way these people want it to be, but reality doesn't care what you want. Scientists know this and are continually throwing out beloved notions and hypotheses, even if they've been studying them for years, if the facts lead elsewhere. Scientists merely go where the facts tell them. There is no controversy and there is nothing to debate with Sarah. Why would Gore pretend there is?

17. Are these "people" who "want this debate" the same as the "some say" types
Edited on Mon Dec-14-09 12:51 PM by BlueMTexpat
who are consistently cited by the news bimbos as authorities?
That sounds about right.

*********
As others have already said, there is nothing to "debate" here. Global warming IS a fact and another fact is that man-made activity is contributing mightily to its increase. Al Gore is passionately dedicated and committed to working for the welfare of the Earth and all of its people. Sarah Palin is passionately dedicated and committed to Sarah Palin.
It's not even close.

16. Well, maybe she would decide to do it.
And then, in kind with other things she promised to do, not follow through on it.

I have to agree that there's nothing in it for Al Gore. It would be like a full grown man in a cage match with a 10 year old- What does Al prove by winning? And of course when she comes off like a drooling idiot, all the teabaggers will either cry foul due to 'media bias', or claim she won because she kept her composure.

Anyway she's already given herself an out; any venue short of the Fox "News" studio, with Sean Hannity as moderator, and a room full of Fox-bots shouting Al Gore down every tim e he tries to speak while Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin do the play by play would be dismissed as being "too Al Gore friendly".
