I will ALWAYS adore First Lady Michelle. She's said a lot of things I agree with. But there are DUers in the three aforementioned links who think the country is not moving in the proper direction. Because of policies her husband, the President, has supported. Of course they will be frustrated.

I'm not sure what to make of this, and those threads aren't the greatest news about what's happened in the last year.

But I still feel hopeful, and more well informed.

Especially, I'm more aware than ever of how many in Congress are not as helpful as I'd hoped.

And it's all speculation and gibber, from both sides - and from others.

Maybe there's nothing to be made from by watching that video. It just is, with no underlying subtext.

3. I remember having hope. I guess that's like better to have loved and lost than not loved at all.

So, I have concrete memories to tie it to and other concrete memories of how the feeling was pissed away.
