O'DONNELL: For the White House, Dean "is a very scary crack in the Democratic wall."

When you have a president with no principles and a Congress without leadership chaos ensues.

blow a gasket by then...it's not like he agitates for anything else in this manner really.

4. They are scared of the truth - and he is speaking the truth - THAT'S the difference

They have cut out so much of the vital organs of this bill, it ceases to function as reform. It is a corporate windfall and they know it.

I know exactly why they are doing this-- just as Thom Hartmann said. The only ones with money are the banksters. They think their jobs will be secure if they just play nice with the hand that feeds them.

What exactly are you afraid of? I know these banksters have lots and lots of money to spend on spying, surveillance, and strategic destroying of prospects and reputations. I guess they have more than a few false-but-very-plausible sounding child molestation, terrorism, and corruption charges to throw around, thereby neutralizing anyone who opposes them forever... in any other line of work, too. Look at what happened to Jesselyn Radack and other whistleblowers.

7. So Obama brings out the scare tactics for this POS bill now...

...where was he when there was a chance for some actual reform in the bill? He could have been an advocate for change then, but he wanted to play "Mr. Cool" in the background.

Either he's been played, or he's played us. Maybe a little of both. In any case, disappointing.
