1. Thom NAILED it!
This bill is NOTHING like real change. Pass this sausage, and the Dems will have problems in 2010 and 2012.

true progressives in both the House and Senate. A key part of the plan is to stop donating to the DNC, DSCC and DCCC. Find promising candidates and donate to them directly instead. If you don't have anyone you can support in your district or state, donate to progressive candidates in other states where the candidates are dependent on corporate campaign funds like Montana and Wyoming. If you end up with a Blue Dog candidate that you must hold your nose to vote for, don't donate or volunteer to work for them. Do vote though. Even if our money to the DNC, DSCC and DCCC is only a drop in the bucket of corporate cash, using that money to back a candidate that isn't backed by those DLC infested organizations will give progressive candidate in those states something to be able to wage a campaign with.

BTW I don't any Democrat will primary against Obama so in order not to have a Palin presidency I hope you reconsider voting for him. You don't have to send him money or volunteer to work for him.

5. Primary challenger. We can put our energy and work towards a progressive candidate

We don't have to toe the line and vote for Obama. Let's get to work NOW for a progressive candidate in the White House in 2012. If we are serious, the work must start NOW.
