5. Another Obama Failing:

While candidate Obama admitted to having "inhaled frequently," when asked if he'd ever smoked marijuana, and while he'd promised to answer selected questions on any subject from the public during his first Town Hall, he not only declined to answer any of the admitted "many thousands" of selected questions about marijuana, he obliquely ridiculed those of us who posed those questions by contemptuously noting, "This says something about our supporters!" and flatly refusing to discuss the issue -- in a tone and manner which plainly suggested he was above it and aligned with the prohibitionist position.

What is most offensive about that item of insight into Obama's real character is he needn't have mentioned the issue at all. But he chose to bring it up as a means of insinuating a Conservative posture.

That little gesture was my first glimpse into who and what Obama really is.

7. I'm ecstatic that the Administration called off the feds in MMJ states.

You must work locally if you want things to change in your state. The fed isn't going to help there.

It's pretty much established that MMJ is a state by state issue, at least for now. However, if/when CA legalizes, things are going to change fast.

The movie "Murder at the Vanities" was released pre-code. The Hays Code censoring guidelines went into effect in the middle of 1934.

Less daily stress + better sleep = healthier body and mind

These two effects are very much underestimated IMO. Stress is a killer.

BTW, I'm a legal MMJ patient in Colorado. It's nice to finally be able to talk about these things without worrying about the feds breaking down my door and seizing my property.
