1. This is nothing new - spectacular -a monsoon season phenomena |
|
I remember one afternoon in the early 60's I walked out out my house in Scottsdale about 5 pm to see a 1,000 foot wall of dust coming from the east which was highlghted by the setting sun. It was the most spectacular sight I have ever seen in my life!
Sixty seconds later the street lights went on in the area. I remember all we got was dust - Glendale got the rain.

2. Is this a normal thing, or the start of another dustbowl? |

4. I've been through some dust storms in Yuma. |
|
And believe me, those AZ storms are nothing compared to the ones in Al-Anbar province.
