who has managed to gain access to the MSM. Always prepared, he can take on the right without allowing them to shout him down.
Of course he doesn't always go along with the party line, especially when they are wrong. For die-hard partisans therefore, he is a douchebag. But most people can listen for themselves and judge what people have to say. Most of the time, I find his analysis of the issues to be far superior to most in the so-called 'netroots'. I especially like the fact that he is willing to challenge every politician no matter which party they belong to. That is the best kind of journalism. Or so we all said when the MSM refused to criticize the Bush administration.

5. Geeezz, don't DO that! |

You had me going back through the interview, visiting HuffPo, and doing a Google search for "David Downer" (who is a Nordic author of books on cross-country skiing, I discovered...) until the inevitable forehead slap came into play. Duh. I feel like such an early worm (who would have been better off sleeping in on the morning of the early bird...)
I pay attention to Sirota. I care what he says.
I'm funny that way...

You need to check the polarity on those jumper cables.

4. One of his best interviews. He makes excellent points |

putting into words what many find hard to articulate, regarding the Republicans suddenly appearing to be 'populist' when nothing could be further from the truth. As David says, Democrats are giving them the opportunity to do so.
It's well worth listening to. Wish Obama had hired him rather than Rahm Emmanuel. I didn't know he had worked for Bernie Sanders. Interesting anecdote about how Clinton said he wished democrats had pushed him harder as it would have made it easier for him to fight the Republicans.
Obama said that also. But as Cenk pointed out, whenever progressives do push him, he doesn't seem to want to hear it.
