4. No she hasn't been busted for that yet. But just do the math....... |
|
She's taken in over 20 foster care children. Each child comes with a check!
She must be a big fan of Randall Terry. He milked the foster care system too and he BRAGGED ABOUT IT ON HIS RADIO SHOW IN 1995! Too bad we didn't have media matters back then.

14. Here are a few comments from a right wing board |
|
It seems they are in denial.
>>So she's supposed to refuse the government payments, just because she doesn't agree with them. Just another bunch of left BS. I bet there are congressmen that voted against pay raises, but they take them too.
>>Irrelevant. The tea bag demonstrations weren't organized by politicians they were organized by citizens sick of government corruption and spending. Whether or not politicians try to use that sentiment to their advantage has nothing to do with the either the validity or the purpose of the sentiment itself.
>>Apples and oranges. It's like saying she drinks wine with her dinner, therefore she's against the war on illegal drugs. Or he races dragsters on the weekends and drinks beer on the weekends, therefore he's against speed limits, tough drunk driving laws and mandatory auto insurance
Here is my FAVORITE!!!!
>>Why are you proto-socialists so GULLIBLE? Or are you just a leftist stooge intentionally trying to deceive? (it ain't working...)
Probably more to come. I dropped the article into a righty message board. I have yet to respond to the above posts. If you have any idea, please let me know.

12. She probably doesn't grow anything there- |
|
I'd guess one of those deals where the government pays her not to grow anything.

9. Republicans are, and I suspect always will be, hypocrites and liars. |

I love Cenk. He always does a great job of calling these people out. Too bad our MSM news organizations don't do half as good a job of exposing the lies and hypocrisy.

10. this is "THEE" story that everyone should be pressing on.. |
|
I have been living in frustration over this for a long time, as apparently one of the few people who can see this huge hypocrisy. The rich are the real welfare queens-shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone you know until it becomes common wisdom. If you haven't seen "Food Inc." the time has come. Buy a copy and lend it around. This is "THEE" vulnerability that we need to exploit when it comes to the Repugnants, many of whom are Welfare Queens like bachmann and many more who cluelessly, and so far, invisibly, promote it.

So glad Cenk is bringing this up. What did he say, $178 Billion overall for farm subsidies? But the powers that be are very very good at framing "farming subsidies" as "helping the survival of the family farms and the good and wholesome, salt-of-the-earth folk". Of course in reality, farming in this day and age is largely done by corporate agribusiness.
